Your IELTS results are usually sent to your postal address on the 13th day after taking the test. Please be aware that IELTS Australia can delay the release of IELTS results, which could add a significant delay in your results being delivered. The test centres has no control over these delays, and will post you the results as soon as possible.

Scores are recorded on an official Test Report Form, showing overall ability as well as performance in listening, reading, writing and speaking. All scores are given on a 9 Band scale from non-user to expert user with 'a fully operational command of the language'.

Different institutions have their own entrance requirements and may require minimum scores in particular modules. You are advised to check the score required with the particular institution to which you are applying.

To cancel or transfer your application, you would need to visit our office to make a cancel / transfer request application. The administration fee for cancellation is $77.50 (25% of application fee), or $50.00 for transferring. You must provide photo identification to cancel your IELTS test.

The deadline for cancellation / transfers is 5 weeks before the test. Refunds usually take 4 weeks time, and can be done by cheque or by bank deposit if you provide your bank details when the application is submitted.

If you are not satisfied with your result, you can apply for a remark of your IELTS result. You may select any / all of the modules to be remarked.

To apply; you must surrender your original IELTS result, but please be aware the test centre is unable to copy the result for you. The cost of the remark is $176.00 and the procedure usually takes up to 10 weeks, but please be aware there could be a delay over the end of December - early January period. All remarks take place at IELTS Australia in Canberra; there is no way to speed up the procedure. The deadline for submitting your results for remarking is 6 weeks after the test date. If our IELTS centre is closed on the deadline, you must submit the remark before the deadline to qualify; please contact the IELTS centre to find out the deadline for your particular IELTS test result.

You new or original result will be sent to your postal address upon completion of the remark procedure. Should your results change, you will receive a refund of $176.00 by roughly 4 weeks after your remarked IELTS result.

We can issue a Test report form (IELTS result) to an institution of your choosing. We cannot issue an individual a 2^nd copy of their IELTS result.

Please find attached the required application form to apply for an additional copy of your IELTS TRF. On the application form, you are required to write the date/month and year of your chosen test (must be later than 24 months), your candidate number and complete details of the institution/department where the result needs to be sent.

The application fee is $10 per additional copy requested. You need to send the form back to us with your credit card details form completed by mail or email. We accept Visa & MasterCard only.

Alternatively, you may pay by Money Order (MO) and post your application to us. The MO must be made payable to HAWTHORN LEARNING PTY LTD. You are of course welcome to visit our office and apply in person.

We will process your request within 3 - 4 business days from the time we have received your application.
