Applications must be made in person. The IELTS office is open from Tuesday to Friday, 9am to 4pm. IELTS applications will only be accepted during these times.

You will need to submit:

• IELTS Application Form and Hawthorn application insert
• 2 identical passport-sized photos, photos must be less than 6 months old. The specific requirements can be found on the form 'IELTS Photo Guideline', see below.
• your current valid passport
• test fee 

The Passport must be valid, not expired at registration nor on the test day. Candidates taking the test outside thier own country must present a passport.
Applications can not be accepted unless all of the above is supplied at the time of application. Application forms are available at the IELTS office or can be downloaded below.

Hawthorn-Melbourne will be closed for the following public holidays in April:
Easter: Friday 2nd of April to Tuesday 6th of April (inclusive)
ANZAC Day: 26 April

The test fee is:
$310 (GST-Free) and $341 (GST inclusive)

All tests from 01/07/10 will be:
$317 (GST-Free) and $348.70 (GST inclusive)

The test fee must be paid at the time of making the application. We accept Eftpos, Credit Card (Visa and Mastercard), and Money Order (payable to HAWTHORN LEARNING PTY LTD.)

Please note that we DO NOT accept cash payments.

How to get to Hawthorn-Melbourne

1) Take the Lilydale, Belgrave or Alamein Line train from Flinders Street. Get off at AUBURN Station. Take Bus 624 from Auburn Station (going towards Chadstone or Oakleigh) and get off at the stop for Melbourne University.

2) Take the Glen Waverley Line train from the city and get off at KOOYONG Station. Walk for a block down Glenferrie Road (towards the park). Walk across the park and come onto "Reserve Road". Turn left on Robinson Road and then right on Woodburn Road.

3) Take TRAM 70 or 75 from Flinders Street (going towards Hawthorn). Get off at Stop 36. Turn right on Auburn Road and walk for about 10 mins until you see our campus on the right hand side.
