Hawthorn-Melbourne has delivered an extensive range of teacher professional development and training. English teachers from Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Indonesia, amongst others, have benefited from language and cultural immersion whilst undertaking their professional development program.

The Professional Development courses aim to enhance teaching practice and stimulate new ideas. Participants have the opportunity to observe English language classes at the language centre and gain an insight into contemporary ESL teaching practice.
