Hawthorn English Language School - Melbourne
High School Preparation Program
Hawthorn-Melbourne offers a specialised preparation program for international students who wish to study in an Australian high school.

The High School Preparation Program is more than an English language course – it is a preparation for school life and study. As the Australian school system uses an enquiry-based learning style, our students are encouraged to develop the skills that will help them succeed in this system. They learn to discuss and question, to work individually and cooperatively in groups.

The teachers are familiar with the school system and responsive to the needs of international students who are undertaking the first stage of their overseas education. There is a high degree of individual student care and support. Our students can enter high schools confident in their knowledge and in their potential to succeed.

  • Level: pre-intermediate to advanced.
  • Age: for students wishing to enter High School - age 12 and above
